This year has been especially hard, we all know that. But what makes it special is that as so many things have changed, especially socially, we have all been able to adapt and put our best foot forward. CyAs Tech is lucky enough to support many companies that have been on the frontlines still needing, (and getting!) to provide their services. Most, if not all companies and businesses are having to adapt and change the way that they deliver their services.
Our post this month is all about those companies we support. A letter of gratitude, as we head into the holidays and changes of the season. Showing gratitude and saying thank you will never go out of style, maybe just the channels by which we express it.
Expressing your gratitude often, if not daily, has shown proven success… even with potentially helping those with heart disease! A blog on NPR by Patti Neighmond talks about a professor at the University of San Diego School of Medicine, Paul Mills, who has found a link between those that practice gratitude on a daily basis and that of increased cardiovascular health. In this blog Mills is cited saying that “taking the time to focus on letting that sense of gratitude wash over you – this helps us manage and cope”. Mills isn’t sure exactly how gratitude helps the heart, but he thinks it’s because it reduces stress, a huge factor in heart disease”.
Moreover, there are major bonuses for self when you express your gratitude. This includes better work performance, personal happiness, and overall health. We support a range of clients that work within the financial sector. Without them, especially during the unpredictable times of the pandemic, tax season would have been especially difficult. We want to thank those of our clients whose work falls under the category of safety. We have needed that support more than ever. MANUFACTURING
The sector of manufacturing has possibly not been on the minds of people while we’ve been dealing with a pandemic and the economical impact left in its wake. This sector is not the type of work that can be done remotely, and often time takes a team to produce or install. With that comes a host of new protocols from social distancing, to decreased work hours, and plenty more. The companies we assist have been able to hold fast, and continue to develop, create, install, and ship their products; thus keeping themselves, and their employees afloat, along with whoever may rely on their products to survive as well. We thank you for taking the new protocols in stride, and for allowing us to keep your business IT in tip top shape.

Within the tech industry, security is something that is constantly brought up, that’s why protocols and programs are constantly changing as the need for security ebbs and flows. At the same time, there are other companies that offer security in a different way. Whether that’s physically securing a business or home, or keeping a watchful eye on things from afar, that sense of safety is undeniable. Thank you to those of our clients that offer these services to others and help keep our businesses and homes safe.

HEALTHCARE
Healthcare is one of the more obvious sectors that we, along with every other person are grateful for. The scope of healthcare is vast, and we support a variety of healthcare sectors. From keeping our furry friends safe and healthy, dentistry, to mental health services, and helping third world countries have access to basic medical care and supplies, our clients have been and will continue to be able to offer their services to anybody that needs them. AGRICULTURE
We live in an area where the berries and leafy greens are plenty. But what about other places that must have their fresh produce shipped in? One of our clients does just that, and it is one of the most important jobs out there. Keeping people fed and having the ability to have fresh produce at the ready. It doesn’t matter what is going on in the world, the produce still needs to be grown, picked, packed and shipped. CONSERVATION:
The last group we want to show gratitude for are our clients within the conservation field. No matter what your belief is, we can all generally agree on the fact that conservation is an incredibly important yet diverse realm. The work that these companies do ultimately help create a safe, sustainable planet for future generations to come. Many of us here CyAs have children or another member of the younger generations that mean a lot to us. That alone allows us to have the utmost gratitude for all of the work you do. We appreciate the chance to support you so that you can work efficiently on your endeavors.
We at CyAs tech are grateful not only for the work all our clients provide us, but especially for what they provide to our community. Without any of you, we wouldn’t be here today. Expressing our gratitude for all our clients is not only good practice, but the least we can do after this past year.
